Consumers are faced with so much MIS-information
and MIS-truths that they often become
confused, frustrated and feel like there
is no hope and succumb to the fact that
they will never lose weight and never
achieve personal wellness. THERE
IS HOPE – the Revolution Solution™.
What is Wellness
In order to understand
Wellness, we must first understand health
and illness. In today’s
economy billions of dollars are spent by
Americans on Healthcare. Healthcare
is an incorrect term to describe the services
we are paying for because the business
of healthcare is really devoted to treating
sicknesses and illnesses, it is REACTIVE. Sickness
is defined as being in ill health or having
a specific disease – which clearly
is the opposite of health and wellness. So
let’s assume that our current Healthcare
system and industry is really the Sickness
industry, in order to clearly understand
Wellness.
I first heard of Wellness in the early 1990’s,
when I was a college student and fitness
trainer at one of my colleges ‘Wellness
Centers’. Back then I thought
Wellness was some weird hippy ‘movement’ and
never bought into it. What I didn’t
realize was that wellness was and is becoming
the degree to which an individual experiences
the quality of health and vitality in ones
life. Wellness is PROACTIVE. People
voluntarily seek out ways to make their lives
healthier, to reduce the risk of sickness,
disease and aging.
Wellness may not be a new term, but an awareness
is now dawning. People are starting
to demand better products and services to
improve their individual wellness. People
are starting to realize that Wellness can
not be achieved through just fitness, or
just a fad diet. There needs to be
a balance in everyone’s life, to even
out the wellness continuum. In order
to move away from a sickness or illness lifestyle
(reactive) you have to adopt a wellness lifestyle
(proactive). Our Revolution
Solution™ will provide that balance
and help you achieve personal wellness through
diet and exercise.

The journey that brought
me to creating the Revolution Solution™, originated
from a need to improve my personal health. In
2000, I was diagnosed with having high
cholesterol, high triglycerides and high
blood pressure. This was a complete
shock to me because for 15 years prior
to that, I spent at least 5 hours per week
in a gym or participating in some athletic
activity. What I failed to realize
was that my poor eating habits and lack
of activity were contributing to this unexpected degradation
in my health.
I quickly realized that my nutritional intake
was as important if NOT more important than
physical activity. After researching
nutrition and diets and attempting a few
of the many fad diets that 1) are misleading
people into thinking they can solve their
weight loss goals and 2) are not necessarily
the most nutritionally sound programs to
go on…I realized that I need to understand
the truth in nutrition. I wanted to
take this new found knowledge and find a
way that I can help others understand the
truth and provide a solution that will work
effectively, safely and permanently.
The concept of the Wellness Trinity™ derived
from the fact that individually, a diet,
or an
exercise program will not help you achieve
personal wellness. You will need a
balance of:

Proper Nutrition to
support your body’s basal metabolic
functions (breathing, thinking, blood
circulation, movement, digestion etc.)
-
Active Lifestyle in
order to improve one’s health,
you have to keep your heart healthy and
your skeletal muscles challenged
-
Supplementation to
sustain and potentially improve ones
health. Our bodies require a diversity
of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients
and although we receive many of these
nutrients from our diets, it is impractical
and difficult to obtain an optimal dose
through diet alone.
Consumer Confusion
How
many diets have you tried? If
your answer is more than one, then you
can understand that diets are designed
to help you achieve short term weight loss
goals, primarily through the loss of water
weight. More
often than not, diets restrict your food
consumption to the point where you aren’t
getting enough nutrition to properly support
basal metabolic functions (ie. Blood circulation,
breathing, digestion, brain activity etc.)
In the search for the right answer…consumers
are getting mixed messages, mostly because
the information is coming from sources selling
a product or service and profit from one’s
weakness and desire for the MAGIC
PILL or MAGIC DIET and IMMEDIATE results.
Folks here’s the bad
news:

There is no magic pill that will biologically
melt fat.

Low carb diets are often unsafe and
are often too hard to maintain for extended
periods, the end result being a weight
gain equal to if not more than your initial
weight

Gastric bypass surgery is risky, expensive
and has many side effects.

Lipo-suction works in removing fat cells,
but if you don’t improve your lifestyle
you could gain all that weight back…not
to mention it is risky and painful.
Here is the GOOD NEWS – THERE
